《허쉬》 or “HUSH” was a Korean TV serial which ran from December 11, 2020 to February 6, 2021 in jTBC. This show is about the life of a group of news reporters and how they faced the trials thrown at them.

A two-episode (60 minutes total) web series about finding our soulmates, falling in love, having the courage to confess, facing rejection, and moving on. 《나의 이름에게》 / 《Dear My Name》 stars 《Gongchan》, 《Song Yoo Jung》, 《Kim Do Geon》, 《Han Chae Kyung》, and 《Baek Jae Woo》.

《경이로운 소문》 / 《The Uncanny Counter》 (2020) Season 1 was a live-action adaptation of the webtoon (“digital Korean manhwa”) entitled 《Kyeongirowoon Somoon》 (2018) by Jang Yi. It stars 《Cho Byeong Kyu》, 《Yoo Joon Sang》, 《Kim Se Jeong》, 《Yeom Hye Ran》, and 《Ahn Suk Hwan》, as the Counters–people who hunts evil spirits.

“더 킹: 영원의 군주” or “The King: Eternal Monarch” (2020) was the best science fiction and romance of the 2010 decade. I would say that this show has gained the number one (#1) spot in my list of “Top 10 Overall Best Sci-fi TV Show” pushing down “Fringe” (2008) which held that rank for 12 years.

Thirty years ago an island village was plagued by a mysterious event which shook Korea to its core. Slowly, the stories about the village faded from the memory of the nation and forgotten. However, there were survivors from the island which a group of people are hunting down to continue the forgotten research and one such survivor is a detective who will do everything to keep the demons of the island buried forever.

《도시남녀의 사랑법》 / 《Lovestruck in the City》 is a short story or short form romantic comedy drama which depicts real love stories of young people as they live in a huge busy city. It stars 《Ji Chan Wook》 and 《Kim Ji Won》. The series is also the first part of the multi-series entitled 《City Couple’s Way of Love》.

《제발 그 남자 만나지 마요》 / 《Please Don’t Date Him》 is romantic comedy done right. There are many shows categorised as “RomCom” over the years and very few deserving of this label. 《Please Don’t Date Him》 is one of the few exception as it brings out genuine laughter in every episode while building on the romantic relationship of the characters.
